Our Professional Memberships

Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA)
The Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA) is the broadest-based business membership organization in the state of CT, as well as the largest. CBIA is the leading voice of business and industry at the State Capitol and before state administrative agencies.

Interstate Natural Gas Association of America (INGAA)
INGAA is a trade organization that advocates regulatory, and legislative positions of importance to the natural gas pipeline industry in North America.  INGAA's membership includes virtually all of the interstate natural gas transmission pipeline companies operating in the United States, as well as comparable companies in Canada and Mexico. 

New England Canadian Business Council (NECBC)
NECBC was formed in 1981 to bring together businesses and individuals with an interest in the U.S.-Canada relationship and, more specifically, New England-Canada political, economic, business and cultural affairs.  Today, the Council's membership is composed of business leaders from a wide range of sectors including finance, law, consulting, energy, and high technology, as well as government and academic officials and individuals with links to Canada.

Northeast Gas Association (NGA)
NGA is a regional trade association that focuses on education and training, technology research and development, operations, planning, and increasing public awareness of natural gas in the Northeast U.S. NGA represents natural gas distribution companies, transmission companies, liquefied natural gas importers, and associate member companies. These companies provide natural gas to more than 9.5 million customers in eight states (Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont). NGA was established on January 1, 2003, as a merger of the New England Gas Association (founded in 1926) and the New York Gas Group (founded in 1973).

The Business Council of New York State
The Business Council of New York State, Inc., is the largest business organization in New York, representing the interests of large and small firms throughout the state. Its membership is made up of thousands of member companies, as well as local chambers of commerce and professional and trade associations.  The primary function of the organization is to serve as an advocate for employers in the state political and policy-making arena, working for a healthier business climate, economic growth, and jobs.
